Searching for that perfect university/college. :)

Okay so I said / mentioned in a blogpost that I will be taking up my MA soon.. I guess? Ack. Well hopefully!! *CROSSING MY FINGERS*

And now I'm on the lookout for the perfect college/university.. Well I must pass the entrance exam first.. Then present my options to papang.. Then he'll decide which school is the best --or well.. According to his standards. Hooooh. :| :( :) Too much emotions? LOL

A bit of a background about papang (my dad's dad / grandfather).. 
He is a lawyer. 
UP Law. 
#6 in the Bar Exam. 

I will never be as intelligent as that man. I MEAN SRSLY? One of the top 10 in the freakin bar exam? I died. LOL.
I wasn't sure at first but.. I guess his picture or his name is somewhere in UPD -Law? --Reasons why his nieces didn't go for UP Law. :/ Ooh. Pressured? SAME HERE. =))

I know that having him as a grandfather would mean more pressure coz I'm not that kind of person.. I don't have study habits or study sesh with myself but his trust meant so much to me..
He offered me this opportunity and at first I backed out. FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS!! I hated my thesis group way back college and I'm traumatized by that experience.. So as not to remember the past.. I sort of rejected Papang's offer. But, I woke up one morning knowing that I would need that degree as soon as I stepped into the hospital field.. So I talked to him and ask if the offer still stands and well he said yes so.. YAY!! :>

HAHA. Dami kong sinabi no? Sorry. Just had to blog about this. I'm still up its 436am and I couldn't sleep actually. I went out for milk tea with the boys and I shared this with them and I guess.. I'm on the right / better path! :>

More enlightenment sana. But I think I need to rest my eyes now. I must visit the schools later this morning to verify the scheds of the entrance examinations + their fees / unit price. Ack. HELP MEEEEEEE!!!!! :">

Resolved issues? :) I HOPE!! :)

I have loads of issues lately.. I'm 22 and jobless [for everyone to know.] I'm enjoying the bum life so far but I wish to get a nursing job soon. I don't like being inseparable with my bed for it makes me feel too comfy and it feels like it doesn't want me out of it. HAHA. Yes. I have a daily affair with my bed since I don't really have to go out and work. =))

Anyhoo the first issue would be me training for where ever. I wanted to get the BLS again since I wasn't able to use it when I trained last 2010 so papang provided for the renewal and yay for that! :) And I've always wanted to have the nephrology training but I guess that's not gonna be considered now.. The fee is too much and the fickle minded person in me doesn't want that anymore.. So.. What now?

Ever since Papang [grandfather] went back [he's just visiting us here] he's been wanting me to improve my skills and my education coz  I'm pretty sure he knows that nurses these days are over flowing and that I must always be updated and must be at my best to be given the chance to be a nurse in a hospital. He offered to pay for my MA education.. At first I didn't really see why I should take up MA --Not really interested in the academe part of Nursing. I have very short tolerance and patience for students like me. HAHA. So there.. I kinda rejected the offer and told him that I would rather take up the Nephrology training [which he didn't  find amusing. HAHA] so I had to search for that kind of training and now.. I find it as boring as myself. LOL. But seriously.. My friends were like "BAT DI MO GRINAB?!" "ANO BA YAN MARA!! Walang kwenta ang dating ng Nephro!" "Gusto mo bang mastock sa Renal centers?" when they learned about the masteral and the nephro thingy. I guess they were right. It was a wrong move to take up the training instead of the MA education that papang has been wanting me to get..

With that..

I'd be calling schools on Tuesday to ask for the requirements and hopefully and crossing my fingers to get this MSN-MedSurg degree after my name. :)

I'll work hard for this!! And I think all the PROs are making me want this more than anything right now! :)

Improvement is what I need now :)

ANOTHER LATE POST :))

Since my contract with my former employer ended last Sept 20, I have been a BUM since. Or not.. I'm still volunteering for PGH but there are days that I just wanted to rest so.. No duty for me.. Just me and my bed :))

Since The Mistress (YES. We watched it late! I had to force mom to watch it with me!! :P We loved it btw! I love the twist!!!! :)) will start in 2hrs we had time to eat! Yay Sbarro! :) Our fave would be their Baked Ziti! I was going to order pizza but then.. Decided not to and just got the blueberry cheese cake which is so delish! :) I love cheesecakes! SRSLY!! :)

After eating mom and I windowshopped for a while before heading to the cinemas :) Got Sour cream and chives popcorn and Iced tea for us --I never really liked going inside the cinema without "kutkutin" so there. HAHAH. Fat me. IKR :))

Church day with mom.

Sokaaay. Starting this super late post with what I wore. Which is appropriate[?] right? HAHAHA

I want to add that this Maxi skirt is just so pretty! I never really thought I'd own one til this day but luckily I found Fashion Eggplant and I immediately got this for myself! :D Maxi skirts are definitely a statement itself!! :)

Padre Pio church in Eastwood -before Libis :)

What I love most about this chapel / church is the amazing place and good sermon/s of priests :) They don't talk about politics when giving the sermon. And this church is actually a dedication of Mr. Rodriguez :) Really amazing church and a place where you'd really want to pray and be a part of :)

We started eating here since we started going to Padre Pio :) Its been years and I must say the food is really delish! They have cupcakes and cakes as well as short orders that are pretty much affordable because of the quality of the food that they serve :D Visit them!! You would never regret eating there! :)
