Was there ever a time..

Was there ever a time that you wished you were someone else? :|

I've always dreamt of being in one of the top 4 schools in the Metro but since DLSU [only their Dasma branch offered nursing --and Dasma is wayyyyyy far from Mandaluyong] and AdMU didn't offer the nursing course in their school I still had UP and UST to choose from.. But sadly. I didn't get the UPCAT results and I only passed Nutrition in UST.
I wanted to push thru with Nurti as my course because I'm going to be a THOMASIAN!! HELLO! MAJOR WANT! But my grandmother [my dad's mother] insisted that I take Nursing as a course.. So fine. I still had time to take entrance exams and all.. And HELLO MANILA DOCTORS COLLEGE :> 
Not one of the 2 schools I dreamt of.. but I had to go somewhere and I'm able to pass the entrance for Nursing.. I had to go there. :)

I had amazing friends who are still with me til this day :D 


As a nursing student I imagined my self as a successful and intelligent nurse of my generation. But unfortunately I'm not. I have always been the average - regular student who passes exams and almost flunking some.


-I never really liked being the average person. I wanted to stand out but.. That never happened :| Oh well. Life goes on. No need to stagnate my life coz of that. 

4 years passed like a whirlwind. PAKABILIS LANG! Parang di ko na namalayan.. Ggraduate na pala ako!!

After Nursing school I had to take the board exam. I took the board exam twice.. I was devastated by the result of the 1st and not really the happiest when I passed the second one. IM SORRY. There's just too much pressure. :/

I might sound insecure or not happy for who I am right now but I'm just sharing whats on my mind..

I hope I studied the hardest.

Right now.. I love being a nurse. I may be a volunteer for now but I'm going to do a lot better soon :)

Lets improve okay? :D

Its never too late to do the things you want.
Time will always pass.. So just do whatever makes you happy! :)

So I went out with mom for coffee this afternoon. Looking like that.. YES. HAHAH. Lakas ng gym vibe no? I'm super lazy to dress up lately. Medyo di ko lang feel mag-ayos kase I'm forever a bed buddy! HAHA. Hirap ng tinatamad magbihis. Nagmumukang pang gym ang peg! LOL.

Okay so this is where I tell you who I am, right? :)

Okay. So I'm gonna try and introduce myself.. 

My name is Mara [I also use Rio for my volunteering stint] :)
I am twenteen-two years young and turning twenteen-three and after that.. Uhh. I won't count my birthdays anymore :)

I'm a self confessed hospital junkie.
I recently fell in love with PGH's Emergency Room. Yes you read that right.. I think I've been in love with it for 5 months now? And I'm so happy about it. I am able to practice my nursing skills while being assisted by a staff nurse. I'm also a Registered Nurse but as we all know.. We RN's are overflowing. LIKE OVERFLOWING :) So I volunteer to keep my nursing skills alive. Yay! :))

I also love to blog hop. I read blogs almost everyday or whenever I feel like reading --which is mostly everyday :))
I've been a blog hopper since forever. CHOZ.
Bloggers have inspired me to blog about the things that I've been wanting to blog all my life.. Fashion and the like. :) Sana lang umeffect! :))
